The Venue

The Gables is a handcrafted rustic wedding venue in Indiana built with local cedar from our property. It includes heating and air conditioning, wrought iron lighting with dimmable switches, ambient color changing lighting, an outdoor patio with rope lights, beautiful stained concrete floors, a grass lawn with a lakeside ceremony deck or cypress forest ceremony location, and a gravel tent pad for a wedding tent.

We provide tables & chairs, trash bins, restrooms, a parking field, a photo arch and much more! Our Southern Indiana wedding venue can host receptions of up to 150 guests using its indoor and outdoor spaces. Additionally, it features your choice of a ceremony lawn with a lakeside deck or a tree-covered ceremony area! The Gables offers full service electrical support for catering operations, DJs, bands, and more. Plus, we provide free WiFi for your guests!

Venue Details

• The Gables offers 1,800 sqft of indoor space, a 600 sqft concrete outdoor patio, and an 800 sqft tent pad that accommodates tents up to 20'x40'. 
• We comfortably accommodate weddings of up to 150 guests. 
• Our lakeside ceremony deck provides a choice of wooden bench seating or white chairs on a shaded lawn, accommodating up to 120 guests for the ceremony. 
• Additional ceremony sites are available. 
• The venue has an air-conditioned and heated indoor environment
• Dimmable wrought iron lighting, chandeliers, and ambient lighting
• There is plenty of parking space, including a handicap & elderly parking/drop-off area and a large parking field
•  Restrooms and cabins are fully stocked with toilet paper, paper towels and soap
• We provide garbage cans with heavy-duty trash bags
• We include up to ten 72" round tables, ten 8' rectangle tables, 150 brown chairs with ivory seat cushions, and four 8' banquet tables. 
• The property features 24/7 closed circuit video surveillance and security of all public areas.

Ceremony Sites: 

Lake Side Ceremony Deck - Our beautiful ceremony deck is located on our lakeside lawn next to The Gables event venue. It has a grass lawn with wooden bench seating. The deck is a wooden pergola with the lake and fountain in the background! It also has a wall in the back of the lawn with antique French doors for the bride's entrance and a wedding arch for an amazing photo ready backdrop! 

Cypress Grove Chapel - This breathtaking ceremony location will debut for 2027 weddings at Twin Lakes Country Cabins. Nestled down a trail deep within our picturesque cypress forest beside the creek, this enchanting outdoor chapel setting was designed for couples who dream of a romantic wedding surrounded by nature. Towering cypress trees frame a beautiful aisle lined with elegant white chairs, while oversized church windows suspended between the trees create the feeling of a secluded woodland chapel. At the front, a handcrafted altar and wedding arch stand gracefully against a stunning backdrop of untouched forest scenery. Peaceful, intimate, and unforgettable, this one-of-a-kind ceremony site blends rustic elegance with the natural beauty of Southern Indiana.
